Terms of Service

The rules for using QuickPing SMS, written in plain language.

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. Who we are

QuickPing SMS is operated by Quick PingSMS Ltd, a company registered in Ghana (registration number CS188650926), with its address at Tema Community 26, P.O. Box 421, Tema C1, Ghana. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Quick PingSMS Ltd. "You" means the person or business that creates an account or uses our services.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, buying credits or using our platform or API, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use QuickPing SMS for a business, you confirm that you can legally agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. The service

We provide a platform and API for sending bulk SMS and voice messages, managing contacts and viewing delivery reports. We may add, change or remove features from time to time. We will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you.

4. Your account

  • You must give accurate business and contact information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, including activity by your staff and by anyone using your API key and secret.
  • Keep your password, API key and secret private. Tell us straight away if you think they have been exposed.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to open an account.

5. Credits, prices and payment

  • QuickPing SMS is prepaid. You buy credits before you send messages, and each message uses credits from your balance.
  • Prices are in Ghana cedis (GHS) and are shown in your account or agreed with you in writing. We may change prices for future purchases, and we will tell you before the change applies.
  • Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, including Mobile Money and card processors. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
  • Credits are for your own use and cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for cash.
  • Credits used to send messages are not refundable, except where a message fails because of a fault on our side or where the law requires a refund. Ask us about unused credits at support@quickpingsms.com and we will look at each request fairly.

6. Sender IDs

You may only use a Sender ID that you are entitled to use, such as your own business name. Sender IDs must be approved before use. We may refuse or remove a Sender ID that is misleading, that imitates another person or organisation, or that breaks the rules of the networks or regulators.

7. What you must not do

You must not use QuickPing SMS to:

  • send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or keep messaging people who have asked you to stop;
  • send spam, scams, phishing, fraud, or anything meant to mislead people about who you are;
  • send threats, harassment, hate speech, adult content, or anything illegal in Ghana;
  • send messages that break the rules of the National Communications Authority, the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), or other laws that apply to you;
  • upload or use phone numbers that you obtained unlawfully;
  • try to break, overload or bypass the security of our platform, or resell the service in a way we have not agreed to; or
  • send messages that pretend to come from a bank, government body or other organisation that you do not represent.

8. Your messages and your contacts

You are responsible for the content of your messages and for having permission from the people you contact. Promotional messages must make it clear who is sending them and give people an easy way to opt out. You must keep records of the consent you collect and show them to us if we ask.

9. Delivery

We send your messages to the mobile networks as quickly as we can, but we do not control the networks or the recipient's phone. Messages can be delayed or fail because a phone is off, out of coverage or blocked, or because of a network problem. We cannot guarantee that every message is delivered at a particular time. Delivery reports show the status we receive from the networks.

10. Using the API

If you use our API, you must keep your API key and secret on your own server, stay within the rate limits we give you, and not share your credentials with other businesses. We may deactivate a key that is misused, is not secure or puts our service at risk.

11. Suspension and ending the service

We may suspend or close your account without notice if you break these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse, or if we are required to by a network, regulator or court. You can close your account at any time by emailing support@quickpingsms.com. When an account is closed, you can no longer send messages. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those about liability and payment, still apply after closure.

12. Our responsibility to you

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that arise from network delays or failures, from events outside our control, from your content, or for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

13. If someone makes a claim because of what you sent

You agree to cover us for claims, fines and costs that come from the messages you send, from your contact lists, or from your breaking these terms or the law.

14. Your data

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. For the contact details you upload, you decide why and how they are used, and we process them for you to deliver your messages.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and for important changes we will also email you. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking, it will be dealt with by the courts of Ghana.
