Privacy Policy

What information we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have.

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information

Quick PingSMS Ltd (registration number CS188650926), of Tema Community 26, P.O. Box 421, Tema C1, Ghana, runs QuickPing SMS. We handle personal information in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. For information about our own customers, we decide how it is used. For the contact lists our customers upload to send messages, the customer decides how it is used and we process it on their behalf.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address and registration details.
  • Contact lists and messages: the phone numbers, names and message content that you upload or send through the platform or API, along with delivery status, time sent and cost.
  • Payment information: the amount, time and reference of your payments. Mobile Money and card details are collected by our payment partners, and we do not store your card number or Mobile Money PIN.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, collected through logs and basic cookies when you use our website and platform.
  • Messages to us: what you send when you email or call our support team.

3. How we use your information

  • to create and run your account and deliver your messages;
  • to take payments, give you credits and keep billing records;
  • to keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and spam, and check that our terms are followed;
  • to give you support and to tell you about changes to the service;
  • to understand how the service is used so that we can improve it; and
  • to meet our legal duties, including requests from regulators and mobile networks.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where needed to run the service:

  • messaging and network partners that deliver your messages to mobile networks;
  • payment providers that process your payments;
  • hosting, security, email and contact-form providers (such as Formspree, which delivers messages sent through our contact form) that keep our systems running; and
  • regulators, law enforcement or courts when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Ghana. When that happens, we take steps to make sure it is protected.

5. Messages you send to other people

If you send messages through QuickPing SMS, you are responsible for having permission to contact the people on your list and for telling them how their information is used. If you received a message sent through our platform and want to stop receiving messages, reply with the opt-out word in the message or contact the business that sent it. You can also email support@quickpingsms.com and we will help you reach them.

6. How long we keep information

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is open and for the time the law requires afterwards. Message logs are kept for a limited period so that you can view reports and so that we can investigate delivery problems. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. How we protect information

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and hashed API secrets to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please keep your passwords and API credentials private and tell us at once if you think they have been exposed.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and in many cases ask us to delete it or stop using it. To make a request, email support@quickpingsms.com. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are not happy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

9. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies and similar tools needed to make it work and to understand basic usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the platform may not work without them.

10. Children

QuickPing SMS is for businesses and is not meant for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its date, and we will email you about important changes.
